Student EntrepreneurShip Investigation Camp
EntrepreneurShip Investigation (ESI) Camp is a three-day camp for youth in grades 8 to 10 in the Grand County School Districts. Students will develop a business plan, learn about financing and promotion, and interact with local business owners. Upon completion, students will be eligible to join the Entrepreneurship Club at Middle Park High School where they will build upon the skills that they learn during the camp.
DAY 1: Thursday, May 2, 2019 – 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Registration, Introduction activities, Pitching business ideas, and Panel of Entrepreneurs
DAY 2: Friday, May 3, 2019 – 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Additional training, Work on business ideas, Financing information, Guest speakers, Tours of local businesses.
DAY 3: Saturday, May 4, 2019 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Parents 2:30 p.m.)
The Importance of customer service, pricing products, Business projects and posters work, and the final Business Pitch Presentations
The public is invited to the Business Pitch Presentations – to include parents, grandparents, educators, community leaders, business leaders, government officials, and local media. Invite your friends!
Lunch is included on Friday and Saturday.
